The emotions were so heavy for me hundreds of miles away and still are vivid till this time. I'll never forgot and I don't want to forgot.<br /><br />On Tuesday, I wrote a poem entitled <a href="http://cathykennedystories.blogspot.com/2012/09/rise-up-never-fall.html" rel="nofollow">Rise Up To Never Stay Down</a> in memory of those who died on 9/11. I'm not a poet, but this came freely to me. It was indeed a sad day none of us will ever forget. My grandpa lived through Pearl Harbor and 9/11 but i am not sure he really saw what was going on because he had Alzheimer's. We were visiting him at the nursing home and some of the other patients were watching the coverage.
