No, it certainly is not always easy being a wife and submitting, but if we can realize that God does not want the wife to control and be in charge, but puts that responsibility onto the husband, we'd all be much better off. I don't always agree with my husband's decisions and times that I KNOW I'm right and he's wrong, but I've learned that when I give him my thoughts on an issue and then he makes the decision to do things his way, he can never blame me for his own error. PLUS, I NEVER tell him, "I told you so." This ultimately will break down his confidence in leading. Peace is better than always being right.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04483264517830536055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481064975235212785.post-37294712047811356802010-07-26T12:24:47.699-04:002010-07-26T12:24:47.699-04:00Okay this is hard for me...because I have supporte...Okay this is hard for me...because I have supported my husband's visions and we have seen so many fail that I need to stop and not just look at the past failures, but learn to dream with him again.
As the our sermon said yesterday, we are to trust God through them, not put our trust in a human alone...including our husbands, but God through the human.
It is God that brings the visions to past and if they don't work out than it wasn't God's will.
Oh my....will I ever learn.
Thanks for sharing...you are inspiring me!Janettessage.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01262598732466380229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481064975235212785.post-47959515167229367442010-07-26T11:46:44.959-04:002010-07-26T11:46:44.959-04:00Hi friend, I am thankful for your honesty.
