Wednesday's Words of Wisdom
"How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
Blessed are You, O LORD!
Teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I have declared
All the judgements of Your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts,
And contemplate Your ways.
I will delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word."
Psalm 119:9-16
What word have you hid in your heart today?

Love it, Theresa! I have Psalm 119:11 posted right above my computer screen - "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against you." I think that is a scripture to be reminded of EVERY DAY!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, friend.

I love Psalm 119, actually, I love all the Psalms!! I try to spend some time there every day, the words seem to minister such peace and hope to my soul! I am working on memorizing Colossians 3, right now specifically verses 12-17. I love memorizing Scripture, although I have been having a hard time lately, lack of discipline mainly. But, oh the blessings of hiding His Word in our hearts!!! Great post, thanks for sharing =)
ReplyDeleteI was reading in the book of John today and this Scripture stood out to me:
ReplyDeleteJohn 14:6 ~ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
