Wednesday's Words of Wisdom

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4:7
In Matthew Henry's Commentary on The Whole Bible he writes, "Resolution shuts and bolts the door against temptation."
What are you resolving against today? (Just a question for private thought.)

    I've been asking the Lord for awhile to help me honor my temple better by loosing some weight and being more active. Today I actually took stock of what I had eaten and realized some simple substitutions I could make that really would have cut back my caloric intake. Tonight I am making a healthy dinner and tomorrow I am going to plan out what I eat. If you have a spare moment I would appreciate a prayer for me to be obedient to the Lords will. Thanks for this post. It was certainly perfect providential timing ;D Have a blessed week!
