Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my window... the sun is shining and there is a nice breeze. It is in the mid 60s.

I am thinking... time to start thinking about Christmas presents.

I am thankful for... wonderful family and friends.

From the learning rooms... back to school today. We took off a few days last week for Thanksgiving and today we are back to the books.

From the kitchen... I don't know what I am making for dinner yet. I had leftover turkey pot pie for lunch. It was really good.

I am wearing... jeans, a brown t-shirt and brown lined Crocs.

I am going... to get my teeth cleaned tomorrow :)

I am reading... the Bible, "Womanly Dominion", "Instruments in The Redeemer's Hands"

I am hearing... the kids playing (recess) and my husband talking on the phone downstairs.

One of my favorite things... cool breezes (I am usually hot when everyone else is cold ;)

  1. Do the kids mind getting back to school after a long weekend? My daughter did NOT want to get on the bus this morning. I am praying she had a good day at school. I am praying for you f-i-l. God Bless!

  2. Sounds nice there. I love pot pies. I think I could eat one daily. I hope your books are good and you learn a lot from them. Doylene

  3. I enjoyed visiting her today. I love cool breezes too. I love the beach for that reason.

  4. I always say I am going to get lined crocs- and I never do.
    Are they super-comfy?

  5. OH how nice your weather sounds! It is so cold here in Missouri! Nice place you have here. Stopping in from SWDB.

  6. When you mentioned about getting your teeth cleaned, it reminds me that I need to go to the Dentist and do the same thing. I don't like the Dentist, so I am procrastinating.

I hope getting back on schedule after the Thanksgiving holiday isn't too much of a bumpy transition for you. I've having "a time" of it over here. :)

At any rate, thank you for stopping by my blog the other day and leaving me a kind comment. It was nice to "meet" you. :) You're welcomed to come back any time. :)
