Wednesday Hodgepodge
I am linking up today for Wednesday Hodgepodge hosted by Joyce.
1. What is something about living in this country that you value? 'This country' is whatever country you call home.
The freedom we have to worship God without political persecution.
2. What is a favorite something you own that is red white and/or blue?
Blue- comfy jeans. There is nothing like a pair of broken in comfy jeans.
3. Do you fly a flag at your house on patriotic holidays?
Yes; actually we fly the American flag everyday here at our house.
4. What ingredients do you think should be included in a great picnic basket?
Grapes, chips, turkey and ham sandwiches. I like to keep things simple :)
5. What is one interesting piece of trivia you know? Interesting is of course a relative term.
Funny, how I can't think of any now. I am really good at game shows though :)
6. Wednesday, May 24th is National Escargot Day...have you ever tried them? Eww or ooh?
Eww! No way. Just couldn't bring myself to eat that. I am sure it is just because I was not raised eating them, but still...nothing I am going to start now!
7. What is something you know for sure?
God is in control of all things!
8. Insert your own random thought here.
I just learned that today is National Thyroid Day. Make sure to ask for a thyroid test next time you go for bloodwork.

Happy Wednesday, Theresa! We fly our flag every day too. And I've eaten escargot. They weren't too bad, just a little chewier than I expected. LOL
ReplyDeleteAren't you so glad that God is in control? It's good to have the peace that comes from knowing that.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure glad God is in control-even when our circumstances are wheeling out of control!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I want you to know that the song, "Praise You In the Storm" on your play list got a lot of playing for two weeks straight!
God knew I needed that song! Sometimes I find playlists annoying, but it truly was a blessing!
I always enjoy reading your responses & getting to know you a bit better! Hope you're having a good day!

I agree-nothing beats a great pair of comfy blue jeans! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to read...I needed number 7, I found out we are moving yesterday, our rent is increasing a lot and we can't do that..UGH I am not good with change...so number 7 speaks to me this morning.
ReplyDeleteI love that particular freedom we have in our country as well. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely list. I am agreeing with you about #7 -- Alleluia to that!
ReplyDeleteGluten free? Want some info? I'd love to share with you. It's really, really hard in the beginning. For the first couple of weeks I just craved wheat. Bread. So I had to find some really goos substitutes. I highly recommend Udi's bread. And their chocolate chip muffins. MMMMmmmmm..
