Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY
Outside my window... the sun is shining. It is warming up again although the nights have been cool, which I love.

I am thinking... I am so glad we figured out our timeline for Mystery of History. I was using the back of the door but now we transferred everything onto a nice presentation board.

I am thankful for... a wonderful weekend spent with family and friends.

From the learning rooms... Jupiter, The Epic of Gilgamesh, geometry, spelling, reading, phonics, language mechanics, and penmanship.

From the kitchen... I don't know what I will make for dinner. It was a busy weekend and I don't have any meat defrosted. I have some leftover pot roast and chicken- maybe that will work with some sweet potatoes and veggies.

I am wearing... my workout clothes- gray shorts and a pale turquoise t-shirt. Still hoping for that workout ;)

I am going... to enjoy being home this week. I don't have anything planned except for the weekend.

I am reading... the Bible.

I am hearing... the washing machine turning. I am on my fourth load today.

One of my favorite things: my new lipstick from Clinique called "Go Fig". It is supposed to make your teeth look whiter.

  1. Good morning friend. :) The weather is cool and breezy here this morning but is supposed to warm close to 80 later today with strong storms. I too love the cool nights.

    Have a good week!
