Fall Challenge- Week Three

Making_Your_Home_a_Haven_Fall_2010

Here's week #3's Challenge: List a few of the spots in your home that make you visually stressed because of all the clutter. Now go buy something for that spot - like a basket to put it all in! Work on cleaning up clutter. Throw things away. While you're at it - clean up some clutter in your spiritual life. What gets in the way of your peace spiritually?
We have a two part challenge - first let's strive for creating a haven:

I love baskets.  I have a few that need to be gone through.  I can’t stand clutter and am constantly working on getting rid of it.  I usually have to do it when no one is home because my family doesn’t like to get rid of anything.  I am working on that though.  I will post pictures later this week of my updated baskets.  I am actually chuckling right now as I think of how many baskets I have.  What is your favorite thing to store in baskets?

  1. I love to store books in baskets...setting beside a good reading chair.
I have been buying plants...it seems like when I bring in plants it tells me to get rid of clutter and choose life!
This goes with somethings God is showing me to get rid of in our lives....so spiritual clutter.
I remember you when I pray when I light the candle and turn on our music each morning.

    Blessings!!!

  2. I need to find some baskets.... I store my fruit in a basket sometimes. :)

Also want to thank you for your encouragement the other day. Unfortunately, she decided not to forgive me nor admit that she was wrong. I told her that I forgave her despite the fact.

  6. I must follow suit! I am also a lover of baskets and I have too many that I need to go through. Like you, I need to do this when my hubby is away so I can actually toss out what we don't NEED to save - he would save everything given the chance! Thanks for the reminder that I need to tackle this :) Blessings!
